The Amputation Foundation is a charity that empowers amputees through education, advocacy, and support.

A charity and a community dedicated to providing immediate, empathetic, and effective support to amputees and their families. They collaborate with various support networks and groups across the UK, ensuring everyone who reaches out to them finds a mentor who can truly relate to their experience and provide personalised support. The charity offers a range of services, including support groups, a dedicated helpline, practical workshops on prosthetics and daily skills, alongside guidance on benefits, legal matters, and retraining.

Limbless Association

The Limbless Association (LA) believes no amputee need cope alone. Established since 1983, the service offers both practical and emotional support for amputees throughout their pre and post-amputation journey.

The association believe that with an early intervention approach, they can provide useful, easy to access information and advice as well as supporting and connecting amputees, their families and carers.
